I was born and raised in Southern California. I went to the Army and Navy Academy in Carlsbad, CA for High School and then continued on to San Diego State as a Business Major. My favorite movies are, Shawshank Redemption, A Bronx Tale, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Tommy Boy. I love Mexican food, and my favorite vacation was in Cancun, Mexico, where I went for my honeymoon. I’m married with two awesome kids, Ian and Charlotte (Charlie). When I’m not working, I love travelling with the family or staying in town to visit the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, or Sea World.

I started the Commercial Vehicle Division here at Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac in 2010. I’ve been in the industry since 2003, with my entire tenure spent in the Fleet and Commercial Segment. I’ve worked at a few different dealerships that specialized in different aspects of the business such as Major Fleet (5,000+), Mid-Size Fleet averaging 500 or less, and Small Business Customers ranging from 1-25 starting as a Fleet Salesperson and eventually worked my way up to Fleet Manager. I am very fortunate for the support of our customers. It’s because of their loyalty that I was ranked #2 in Fleet Sales Nationally out of 27,000 GM Salespeople in 2015, and in the top 10 overall for the last 6 consecutive years.

Before getting into the Fleet Vehicle Business, I was in corporate sales for Nextel, and before that, I worked as an Insurance Agent for Geico Insurance. My favorite part about this industry other than watching my customer’s business grow and thrive is the simple pleasure of driving on the freeway and seeing a vehicle I sold cruising next to me. I guess it’s kind of like when a contractor sees a project that they’ve completed with pride in a job well done.

I have been told by my customers that the reason they do business with me is that I’m attentive to their needs, prompt to help when there’s an issue, and most importantly, a true partner in the success of their business. Michael E. Olin

My name is Michael E. Olin, a.k.a. Geno. I was born in Hornell, New York on November 6, 1963. I have always played and enjoyed sports. My favorite food is a combination of cheeseburgers, french fries and potato chips.  I like watching movies, and three of my favorites are The Hunt for Red October, Ghostbusters, and Full Metal Jacket. When I am in need of a vacation, my favorite place to go is my home in the Philippines, I get to scuba dive and relax on the beach.  When I am not working I also enjoy riding my Harley.

Before I came in to the automotive industry, I served 20 years in the United States Navy where I worked in emergency medicine, public health medicine and served as a Master Training Specialist in advanced Naval Schools.  I had the privilege of being sent all over the world to serve and teach. After the Navy, I worked at Lenscrafters as a Retail manager but realized that for the hours that I worked there had to be more money out there so I started at Paradise Chevrolet in January 2005 as a total novice. After a few months, I had an opportunity to work with an associate selling used cars and trucks and I enjoyed more prosperity there. When the economy crashed  in 2008, traffic to the dealership was at an all time low. I heard about a used car Internet department that was opened for 3 months was going to close, so I asked if I could have it and was given the opportunity as Internet Manager, and grew to be the Preowned Internet Director and did well.
 
Since the auto industry was almost at a standstill, I accepted an opportunity from the United States Navy to go back school, so I went to Southern Illinois University and completed a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Workforce Education and Development. Upon completion of that, I was offered an Internet Sales manager job at the Gosch auto group selling Chevrolet, Ford and Hyundai.  Then I accepted an opportunity to help a friend create an internet sales department at Lake Chevrolet. After completing the project, I was offered a position as Internet Sales Director there. And now, I am proud and happy to serve at Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac in one of the largest and best fleet departments in the entire country.

I have really enjoyed this business and have won several awards like salesman of the month, mark of excellence award, and others, but I think the best reward of all is all the loyal customers that I have had the privilege to serve.  I think that they like the honest, no pressure way I do business. I know I do, and it is my sincere pleasure to serve all of my customers.
Richard McGrath

Personal information:

Well, that’s just personal, but I will share just a little bit. I come from a small family of 11 kids, 2 very loving parents. I grew up in a small town named, Newburgh, in upstate New York.


Experience:

I have enjoyed being in the truck industry since 1978. From the truck body industry, my experience covers a wide spectrum from standardized truck bodies to full custom builds. Working in the truck body part of the business has given me invaluable knowledge to help people make the best truck body choices for efficiency, cost, and value.

I decided in 1997 to take my skills and knowledge to the truck dealership part of the business because I thought I would be able to serve even more people there. So after deciding that Chevrolet was my favorite choice, I began selling Chevrolet trucks and cars. From the Paradise Chevrolet Fleet Department, I think I am in the perfect place to use my knowledge and skills to be of valuable service to those needing our great trucks.

It is my goal to serve my customers honestly, fairly, and effectively, and to build a lasting working friendship.
Ramiro Perez
Commercial Sales
I am Ramiro Perez, and I am a Fleet/Commercial Sales Consultant at Paradise Chevrolet-Cadillac in Temecula, California. I have been with the company since 2006, and within that time have received numerous sales awards. I have held several different positions within the company, until I finally found my real home in the Fleet Department.

I served 5 years in the United States Army as a Paratrooper with the Signal Corps, and I'm also a combat veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm, and Operation Restore Hope. When I am not busy saving the world and selling amazing trucks to amazing people, I spend my time relaxing with a good movie, fishing, biking, and trying to become the next World Series of Poker champion.
Shellie McGrath

I have been in the auto industry for 28 years. In 2000, I changed from the retail side of the business to the commercial and fleet side. I currently work in the Finance Department for the Commercial and Fleet department.

I enjoy this side of the business, working with so many different companies, and watching them grow. I take pride in being part of the Paradise Chevrolet Fleet team. I'm lucky to work with an amazing group of people that work as a team and treat guests and peers with kindness and respect.

When I am not working, I enjoy being with my family, camping, or just hanging out.
Becky Young
Fleet Mgr/Commercial Sales/Executive Assistant
Becky Young is Fleet Manager / Sales Consultant as well as the Executive Assistant for Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac. She has worked with General Motors for over 35 years. In today’s job market, loyalty such as hers is hard to come by. Her loyalty comes from a true passion she has for her career and the dealership she works for. “I truly enjoy my job and getting to know my customers.

Becky has worked at Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac since 1999. She moved to Temecula from Salt Lake City and was raised in a small Utah town of about 1,000 people. The small town feel of Temecula is one of the things she loves most about our valley.  She began her career with GM as co-owner of two small town Chevrolet dealerships also in Utah. Becky has won numerous awards from General Motors throughout her career and continues to be the top sales performer at Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac.  Her success can be attributed to her strong work ethic and goal driven approach.

Throughout her career, Becky has remained involved in her community. She says that serving and giving to her community was something she learned as a young girl. You can see Becky at most every community event in Fallbrook, Temecula, Murrieta and Menifee representing Paradise. What ever she does at work, in the community or with her family, she does it with passion. Becky contributes her success to the commitment she has for the things she believes in. “I can sell anything,” she says. “However it is much easier and fun to sell what I believe in and I believe in the Chevrolet – Cadillac products. I also believe in the dealer and dealership I work for. When Becky started in the car business she made a commitment to make it her career, not just a job until something better came along. Then she started meeting the customers, who soon became her friends, and that’s when she really started loving her job.

When not at work Becky typically has grandkids with her at home baking and having fun. Saturday night sleepover at Grandma's is the place to be. In her alone time she loves to go to the Beach for a relaxing afternoon. However, Maui is her Happy Place.

Becky loves Music and is a bit of a “concert junkie” If there is a Country Concert somewhere between San Diego and LA, Becky and her friends will be there.

Becky has four sons and thirteen grandchildren. “My love for my family is my true joy,” says Becky. “Similarly, my customers become my family and friends.” Becky genuinely cares about the people she does business with and strives to make their experience at the dealership a positive one, ending in lasting relationships.  
Brian McDaniels

I'm Brian McDaniels, and I get to be part of an elite commercial team at Paradise Chevrolet Cadillac in Temecula CA, where I have devoted my energy and skills in the service of our customers in the Commercial Truck and Fleet Department.

I help keep track of the largest commercial truck inventory on the west coast. I have a great work ethic, and a strong desire to provide unbeatable customer satisfaction,

My prior job before joining the elite commercial team, was working for myself for 15 years installing custom hardwood flooring in many luxurious million dollar homes in Southern California. I still do some flooring jobs as a hobby on the weekends.

I take great pride in a job well done. I began my career at Paradise Chevolet in 2011 running the new car check-in and inventory control needs for the dealership. A year into my new career, I was invited to work with the commercial/fleet side of the business with AJ Hewitson. This department began as a two-man commercial crew with AJ Hewitson and myself, and since that simple beginning, we have become number one in the nation in Commercial Truck and Fleet sales. It's been a thrill to be a part of this growing team!
